A tunneling machine is a heavy-duty piece of machinery designed for excavating underground projects such as tunnels and shafts, primarily used in industries like mining, subway construction, and water conservancy projects. It efficiently breaks through rock and soil using cutting tools mounted on a rotating cutterhead, while simultaneously employing a conveyor system to remove the excavated material, enabling smooth and continuous underground excavation operations. The cutterhead, propulsion system, muck removal system, and support system are the core components of a tunneling machine. These machines are categorized into full-face tunnel boring machines (TBM), partial-face tunnel boring machines, and shield machines.

1. The travel system features a load-sensing system with proportionally adjustable flow output, enabling stepless speed control during travel, stable flow delivery, and ensuring that travel speed remains unaffected by terrain conditions.

2. The cylinder and material conveying system utilize a load-sensing system that automatically adjusts the pump’s displacement and pressure output based on the flow rate and pressure required for the cylinder operation. When the pressure reaches the set value, the pump’s swashplate returns to neutral, halting flow output. All hydraulic components are certified for explosion protection.
