A rock drilling jumbo is a highly efficient drilling device used in underground projects such as tunnels and mines, primarily for tasks like drilling blast holes and anchor bolt holes. Its chassis system can be equipped with either tires or tracks, while the boom system features a multi-section hydraulic-powered arm that allows for flexible adjustment of both angle and position.

Rock drill: High-frequency impact or rotary-impact drill bits, designed to handle varying rock hardness levels.

Control System: An automated operation platform that supports setting parameters such as positioning and drilling depth.

1. The walking system uses a closed-loop system.

2. The working hydraulic system of the rock drilling jumbo utilizes either an electro-proportional multi-way valve, or a bus-based electro-proportional electronic control module paired with a PLUS+1 controller, along with a load-sensing pump from the S45 or D1P series. This load-sensing open-loop system enables precise adjustment of the boom’s posture as well as rotation, propulsion, and impact functions of the rock-drilling unit. By incorporating the load-sensing technology, the hydraulic system achieves greater energy efficiency, while the electro-proportional multi-way valve ensures accurate control over the boom’s positioning.

3. The steering system offers electro-hydraulic steering and a GPS satellite positioning system.
