In April 2018, the 11 major domestic bulldozer manufacturers included in the statistics collectively sold 989 units of various types of bulldozers, representing a year-on-year increase of 44.4%. Through the first four months of this year, cumulative bulldozer sales reached 3,100 units, up 38% compared to the same period last year. Overall, the bulldozer industry continues to maintain its upward momentum.

In April, Shantui Sold over 730 bulldozers, accounting for 74% of total sales; Shan Gong The machinery ranks second with sales exceeding 90 units. LiuGong, XuanGong, PengPu, and Yishan followed closely in third through sixth place, respectively. Together, these six brands captured 96% of the market’s total sales.
Looking at brand export performance, Shantui has exported more than 410 bulldozers in the first four months, accounting for 56% of its total exports. Meanwhile, Shantui Construction Machinery exported 75 units, and XuanGong exported approximately 60 units.
In terms of models, the 160-horsepower model is the best-selling, with cumulative sales of around 2,040 units in the first four months, accounting for 66% of total sales. The 220-horsepower model follows closely, with nearly 520 units sold, representing 17% of the market. Exports also favor the 160-horsepower model, totaling over 260 units shipped in the first four months—equivalent to 36% of the overall export volume—while the 220-horsepower model accounts for more than 180 units exported during the same period.
From a sales region perspective, Anhui Province continues to lead, with cumulative sales reaching 330 units in the first four months; followed by Hubei Province with over 270 units, Jiangsu Province with approximately 220 units, and Zhejiang Province with 200 units.

Bulldozer exports continued to shine, with approximately 200 units exported in April—up 39% year-on-year. In the first four months combined, bulldozer exports totaled nearly 730 units, representing a robust 74% increase compared to the same period last year.

From a category perspective, wetland-type bulldozers saw slightly higher sales, accounting for about 54% of total sales.
Looking at specific models, a total of 10 bulldozer models exceeded 50 units in sales over the first four months, with 6 of them selling more than 100 units (Shantui accounted for 5 of those).
