On November 16, 2017, the Northeast Asia Regional Marine Economy Innovation and Development Demonstration Forum was successfully held in Yantai, Shandong. The forum aimed to foster mutual learning and exchange of successful practices in marine economic innovation through discussions and interactions, while exploring potential avenues for strengthening bilateral or multilateral cooperation. Ultimately, it sought to contribute meaningfully to the harmonious prosperity of the economy and society in the Northeast Asian region.
On November 16, 2017, the Northeast Asia Regional Marine Economy Innovation and Development Demonstration Forum was successfully held in Yantai, Shandong. The forum aimed to foster mutual learning and exchange of successful experiences in marine economic innovation through discussions and interactions, while exploring potential avenues for strengthening bilateral or multilateral cooperation. Ultimately, it sought to contribute meaningfully to the harmonious prosperity of the economy and society in the Northeast Asian region.
WEIFANG city has 48 companies listed on the "Three New" project roster of Shandong HaiChuang Demonstration Zone. HHH Mechanical & Electrical Marine Vessel Thruster Systems and Offshore Engineering Dynamic Positioning Systems are among those recognized.
HHH Mechatronics' Sun Xiaojian attended the "Sub-forum 2: Marine Intelligent Equipment and Smart Ocean Forum," toured both events on-site, and delivered a corresponding presentation.
At the "Marine Intelligent Equipment and Smart Ocean Sub-forum" on November 16, experts shared key topics including "Current Status of China's Marine Monitoring Buoys and Analysis of Future Developments in Intelligent Buoys," "Advances in Unmanned Boat Applications in the Marine Fisheries Sector," "Innovation and Demonstration of Marine Information System Construction Models—Case Study of the Nearshore Radar Network," "Current Status and Prospects of Desalination Technology," "Marine Ranching Platforms," and "The Current State of the Beidou Satellite Navigation System and Its Applications in Marine Communication."
On November 17, we conducted on-site visits to four companies: CIMC Offshore Research Institute, Shandong International Biotechnology Science Park, Yantai Jerry, and Oriental Marine Technology.
Meeting summary associated with the company representative:
1) Following the 18th National Congress, slogans such as the "Maritime Silk Road," "Strong Maritime Nation," and "Smart Ocean" have emerged. Notably, out of every 100 major national projects, 6 are directly tied to marine technology and equipment. As the government and provincial/municipal authorities continue to provide robust support for ocean-related initiatives, these positive signals have firmly reinforced HHH Machinery & Electronics' confidence in expanding further into the marine intelligent equipment market.
2) HHH Mechatronics must continue to broaden its global perspective, leveraging international resources to enhance its expertise in power transmission and electro-hydraulic control technologies, thereby better serving our customers and fulfilling the company’s social value.
3) Tens of thousands of nearshore buoys are already connected to the internet, prompting us to think about the recent IoT integration in construction machinery. HHH Electromechanical will focus on advancing sensor technology within the IoT framework for construction equipment.
4) Both life sciences and biomedicine are key areas that regions across the globe are actively encouraging for future development. HHH Mechatronics has already established a strong presence in the medical device sector, achieving notable success—and now, the next step is to expand its market share.
5) High-end marine foods hold great promise for the future, and HHH Mechatronics will leverage its technological strengths to explore new opportunities in the high-end marine food equipment sector.
In summary, attending the Northeast Asia Marine Economy Innovation and Development Forum broadened our horizons, allowed us to connect with many industry leaders, and significantly boosted the company’s visibility in the field of marine intelligent equipment.
