To enhance Weihai City's ability to respond to sudden disasters such as earthquakes, fires, and hazardous chemical leaks, and to test the city's emergency rescue capabilities, the Weihai Municipal Government held a comprehensive emergency rescue drill on November 2, 2015.
To enhance Weihai City's ability to respond to sudden disasters such as earthquakes, fires, and hazardous chemical leaks, and to test the city's emergency rescue capabilities, The Weihai Municipal Government held the Weihai City Comprehensive Emergency Rescue Drill on November 2, 2015.
Exercise location: Caomiaozhen Town, Lin'gang District, Weihai
Participating units: Public Security, Armed Police, Fire Services, Safety Supervision, Civil Affairs, Environmental Protection, Health, Housing and Urban-Rural Development, Water Resources, Communications, Electricity, Earthquake Administration, Forestry, Gas companies, the Blue Sky Rescue Team, and other specialized rescue units.
Leaders observing the drill: Chao Hongtai, Director of the Provincial Earthquake Administration; Ren Jianjun, Deputy Director of the Provincial Public Security Department; Gao Jianjun, Deputy Director of the Provincial Safety Supervision Bureau; and representatives from the Provincial Public Security Department’s Public Order Division. Liu Changjie, Political Commissar of the Corps; Jiang Zichuan, Deputy Commander of the Provincial Public Security Fire Brigade; and city leaders Zhang Hui, Wang Xuewen, Liu Maode, Ji Enyuan, Fu Guangzhao, Liu Guanghua, Ren Huaping, Liu Wei, Secretary of the High-Tech Zone Party Committee and Director of the Management Committee, Wu Huimin, Deputy Director of the Management Committee, along with leaders from relevant departments directly under the zone.
This comprehensive emergency rescue drill is one of the largest-scale, real-world exercises conducted in the city in recent years, bringing together elite emergency response teams and showcasing their exceptional capabilities. Emergency rescue equipment showcases highly effective, coordinated emergency response capabilities. The drill highlights two key themes: equipment demonstrations and practical emergency simulations, with the equipment display serving as a central component. Equipped with advanced, cutting-edge, and specialized gear for professional monitoring, life-saving operations, accident response, and emergency support, this marks the entry of Weihai's emergency preparedness infrastructure into the modern era. After the drill, Zhang Hui emphasized that in recent years, the municipal Party Committee and the municipal government have firmly established the concept of safe development and made significant efforts to strengthen the public safety system. Increased efforts have been made to enhance the equipment provision for emergency rescue operations at all levels. The purpose of organizing this comprehensive emergency rescue drill is to combine training with practical exercises, using drills to improve real-world response capabilities. This exercise will showcase the achievements in team and equipment development, elevating the city's emergency response capabilities to a new level. We must continuously enhance our ability to handle emergencies effectively. With professionalism as our guide, we continuously strengthen on-the-job training and enhance our expertise to safeguard the peace and happiness of the people.
As a professional emergency rescue design, production, and manufacturing enterprise, HHH Electromechanical proudly presents its newly developed multifunctional emergency response and disaster relief vehicle—along with the Mengshi Multifunctional… Earthquake rescue vehicles and the various rescue equipment they carried participated in the drill, during which the design concepts and advanced features of our company's participating equipment drew attention and admiration from leaders at all levels who observed the exercise. Our company's performers received high praise for their professional conduct, earning strong recognition from leaders at all levels involved in the event.
Our company began preparations for this exercise in June 2015 and received support from the Municipal Emergency Management Office, the Municipal Earthquake Bureau, the Gao District Government, the Science and Technology Bureau, and the Gao District Emergency Management Office.
