To promote the application of fluid power transmission and control technologies in emerging energy, marine engineering, construction machinery, agricultural equipment, and industrial remanufacturing sectors—and to elevate the R&D and innovation capabilities of these technologies across these fields—the 5th International Symposium on Electro-Hydraulic Power Transmission and Control Applications, hosted by the China Hydraulic Pneumatic Seal Industry Association and co-organized by HHH Cooperation MACH. ELEC.CO., LTD. and the journal *Hydraulic Pneumatics & Seals*, is scheduled to take place in July 2014 in Weihai, Shandong Province.
