The L&K series variable motors are medium-load, two-position axial piston motors equipped with a servo-variable piston integrated into the motor. These L&K variable motors can be used in either open- or closed-loop hydraulic systems. Each motor variant—designed for different displacement levels—comes with specific speed and pressure limitations. The angle of the motor swashplate is precisely controlled by the position of the integrated servo piston, directly adjusting the motor’s displacement output.
● Five different rotary components (displacement options) and two distinct housing configurations are available to optimize system installation costs.
● Three installation options available: SAE-B, dual-bolt, and plug-in (compatible with wheel-side reduction gearboxes).
• •● The standard control method for the motor is a single-control oil circuit. For motors installed according to SAE-B standards, a dual-control hydraulic oil circuit can be selected.
● Compact installation dimensions.
● Oil ports are centrally arranged on one side for easy installation and piping.
• High volumetric efficiency – The rotary assembly consists of 9 pistons, with a swashplate angle of up to 18 degrees.
● Versatility – Operating displacement range: 3.4:1, with a small displacement limiter (-1°) featuring an over-center position.
