In the golden autumn of September, as the moon shines brightly across China, we once again celebrate the annual Mid-Autumn Festival—a time-honored traditional holiday deeply rooted in Chinese culture. This festival symbolizes national peace and prosperity, uniting the entire nation in joyous festivities, bringing families together, and embodying a life filled with happiness and fulfillment. That’s why the Mid-Autumn Festival has always held an irreplaceable place in the hearts of the Chinese people. After all, the cherished reunion of family and loved ones under the full moon has been the enduring aspiration of the Chinese nation for centuries.

The moon shines especially bright on Mid-Autumn Festival, and every festive occasion deepens our longing for loved ones. On this perfect day, when families gather together to cherish the full moon, our HHH Machinery & Electrical Union and Women’s Committee, responding to the company leadership’s call, organized a delightful seaside excursion to Double Island on September 9, 2011. This event was jointly hosted with the Human Resources Office, aimed at enriching employees’ leisure time, fostering teamwork, strengthening team cohesion, and, most importantly, bringing warmth to those staff members who are far from home. This initiative clearly reflects the company leadership’s thoughtful care for its employees, while also serving as a heartfelt acknowledgment and sincere gratitude for everyone’s hard work and dedication that have contributed so significantly to the company’s growth!
At 2:00 p.m. on September 9, 2011, more than 40 employees of HHH Mechatronics set aside their work-related fatigue and, led by the union chairman, embarked on a scenic drive along the highway from Weihai to Shuangdao Island—traveling in eight brand-new sedans that created quite a spectacular sight. Inside the cars, everyone chatted happily and shared stories with one another. Along the way, the lead vehicle occasionally slowed down slightly to allow the rest of the group to catch up. Before long, we arrived at the seaside of Shuangdao Island.
Standing on the vast beach under a cloudless, sunlit sky, the emerald sea and endless blue heavens seemed to embrace each other, while genuine joy and laughter filled the air. After the union chairman’s brief speech, everyone eagerly jumped into the fun, fully embracing the magic, warmth, and sheer delight that nature had to offer. Over there, Deputy General Manager Song Junli was deep in conversation with a few colleagues, his arms occasionally waving animatedly as if passionately emphasizing something important to the group. Meanwhile, across the sand, the Marketing and Technology departments had already kicked off an exhilarating beach volleyball match. Just as Xiao Sun nearly lost balance while trying to receive the ball, Xiao Chen swiftly dashed forward, effortlessly catching him before he could fall—what a heartwarming scene! Clearly, it was all about camaraderie, with competition taking a backseat this time. Further along, the Women’s Committee Chairwoman was busy digging for clams alongside her coworkers, their focused expressions already yielding a bountiful harvest. No doubt, tonight’s dinner back home would be richer and more flavorful than ever! And over by the water’s edge, the waves surged relentlessly, crashing against the shore in rhythmic succession. Amidst this dynamic display, more than ten employees bravely plunged into the ocean, surrendering themselves completely to the sea’s embrace. Finally, at the far end of the beach, Xiao Fan strolled leisurely with a group of stunning women, skipping and hopping as they explored every corner of the shoreline. Every now and then, she paused to capture the moment with her camera, preserving these precious memories forever. Meanwhile, photography enthusiast Xiao Ding was absolutely swamped, tirelessly snapping away to immortalize each joyful instant for everyone to cherish.
Time slipped by minute by minute, and the bright sun was slowly sinking into the sea. Everyone gathered once again, reluctant to part, sharing the fruits, mooncakes, and refreshing drinks that the company had prepared in advance. Though the moon hadn’t yet appeared, everyone gazed at the setting sun, lost in thoughts of the joy awaiting them during the upcoming moon-viewing festivities—and eagerly looking forward to the company’s bright and promising future.
Finally, everyone gathered together, and with a cheerful "Cheese!" photographer Xiao Ding captured a lasting memory for us. The picnic may have come to an end, but the joy she brought—and the company’s thoughtful care—will remain unforgettable. She’ll always inspire us to keep pushing forward and striving for our goals!
Look! Eight sedans are already on their way home, and everyone’s cheerful laughter has faded away, disappearing behind the speeding cars.
