After two consecutive months of year-on-year sales declines in August and September, bulldozer sales rebounded in October and November. In November, bulldozer sales surged to 692 units, representing a robust 34.6% increase compared to the same period last year. Year-to-date, cumulative bulldozer sales have reached 6,894 units, marking a significant 27.5% rise compared to the previous year.

Let’s first look at the brand competition. In November, Shantui sold 458 bulldozers, accounting for 66.2% of its total sales; Shan Gong Machinery followed with 58 units, while Xuan Gong and LiuGong ranked third and fourth with 53 and 49 units, respectively. Year-to-date, Shantui has accumulated sales of 4,600 bulldozers, representing 66.7% of its overall market share. Meanwhile, Shan Gong Machinery, LiuGong, and Xuan Gong have sold 577, 460, and 407 units, respectively, placing them in second through fourth positions. Notably, Yishan and Pengpu each reported sales of around 300 units during the same period.
Now, let’s look at the horsepower distribution: so far this year, 4,181 units of 160-horsepower bulldozers have been sold cumulatively, accounting for 60.7% of total sales. Next are 220-horsepower models with 1,158 units and 320-horsepower models with 386 units.
From a regional perspective, since the beginning of this year, Anhui Province has seen sales
624 units, with Hubei, Jiangsu, and Zhejiang ranking next with sales of 521, 415, and 325 units, respectively; additionally, five other provinces—Shandong, Henan, Guangxi, Guangdong, and Jiangxi—each recorded cumulative sales exceeding 200 units.
So far this year, standard and wetland-type bulldozers have each accounted for about 50% of sales.
Now let's look at export performance.
In November, 218 bulldozers were exported, accounting for 31.5% of total sales—a significant year-on-year increase of 67.7%. Year-to-date, cumulative bulldozer exports have reached 1,980 units, representing a 28.0% rise compared to the same period last year.

Since the beginning of this year, Shantui has cumulatively exported 1,179 bulldozers, accounting for 59.6% of its total exports. Meanwhile, Pengpu, Shangong Machinery, and XuanGong exported 173, 164, and 152 units, respectively.
Brand Competition in the Bulldozer Industry So Far This Year
Looking at the horsepower distribution, 160-horsepower models accounted for 30.8% of total exports, with 609 units sold; 220-horsepower models made up 26.9%, selling 533 units; and 320-horsepower models represented 13.9%, with 275 units delivered.
320 horsepower, 165 horsepower, and 230 horsepower models were exported in quantities of 248 units, 159 units, and 150 units, respectively. Notably, the 320-horsepower model accounted for 71% of the total sales within that horsepower range.
Finally, let’s look at the specific models. So far this year, 12 bulldozer models have achieved cumulative sales of over 100 units each. Among them, Shantui accounts for 7 models, LiuGong for 3, Shandong Construction Machinery and Yishan each have 1 model, and Shantui’s SD16TL has sold an impressive 1,500 units.
