In May 2018, the 11 major domestic bulldozer manufacturers included in the statistics collectively sold 676 units of various types of bulldozers, representing a year-on-year increase of 27.8%. Through the first five months of this year, cumulative bulldozer sales have nearly reached 3,800 units, up 36% compared to the same period last year. Overall, the bulldozer industry continues to maintain its upward momentum.

In the first five months, Shantui cumulatively sold over 2,600 bulldozers, accounting for 69.7% of its total sales; Shantui Construction Machinery sold nearly 320 units, representing 8.4% of its overall sales; LiuGong, XuanGong, Moving the Mountain Pengpu ranked third through sixth. Together, these six brands accounted for 96% of total sales.
Looking at brand export performance, Shantui has exported over 550 bulldozers in the first five months, accounting for 59.6% of its total exports; both Shantui Machinery and XuanGong have each exported around 80 units.
In terms of models, the 160-horsepower model is the best-selling, with cumulative sales of over 2,400 units in the first five months, accounting for 64.5% of total sales. Following closely is the 220-horsepower model, with more than 630 units sold, representing 16.8% of the market. Similarly, exports are dominated by the 160-horsepower model, with approximately 300 units shipped in the first five months—making up 32.1% of total exports—while the 220-horsepower model accounts for around 250 units exported during the same period.
From a sales region perspective, Anhui Province continues to lead, with cumulative sales exceeding 400 units in the first five months; followed by Hubei Province with 340 units, Jiangsu Province with approximately 260 units, and Zhejiang Province with 210 units.
Bulldozer exports continued to shine, consistently reaching around 200 units for the third consecutive month. In the first five months of the year, cumulative bulldozer exports totaled nearly 930 units, representing a 50% year-on-year increase.

Looking at specific models, a total of 12 bulldozer models exceeded 50 units in sales during the first five months, with 7 of them selling over 100 units (Shantui accounted for 5 of those).
