The overall recovery of the domestic economy, stricter environmental policies, growing replacement demand following the elimination of outdated assets, investment in the mining sector, and advancements in infrastructure and urbanization projects are all contributing factors. The construction machinery industry experienced a prolonged downturn from 2012 to 2015, but sales have rebounded in the past two years, paving the way for a sustained recovery and improvement in the balance sheets of key companies in the sector. We believe this year marks a critical opportunity for the development of China’s construction machinery industry, as the ongoing restoration of balance sheets is expected to drive a significant boost in profitability.
